A Shot in the Dark Mod is an adult 3D visual novel that lets you make choices and is about new opportunities and dark secrets. As a young man in your first term of college, learn how to deal with love, relationships, and competition. Can you start over, or will your past come back to haunt you?
You play as a young man who is going to college and wants to start over. But when a girl from a sorority goes missing, all hope for a normal term goes with her. Will you be able to figure out why she went missing before it's too late?
Your Choices Matter
Make smart choices. There are no good or bad things. No one way is the "happy path." From the first scene to the last, the choices you make can change the story for good.
There are many different ways the story can go, and each one has its own happy and sad parts. Eventually, you will reach one of the many different ends.
Interesting People
There is a wide range of body types, personalities, and skin tones among the ten main love partners. Your decisions will affect how each friendship develops and whether or not there are any sexual scenes. Based on polls and requests from patrons, there will be more people you can date.
Playing By The Rules
The puzzle is in the story, not in how to play the game. You will always know how your choices affect the game, so you can play it over and over again.
There won't be any grinding or useless minigames to make the game last longer. Every part of the game is meant to move the story along, not slow it down.

There are known or possible problems with this update:
Some Testers Had Trouble Getting Into Old Saves:
When some users opened old saves, they were taken back to the start of the scene in question. Some testers got an error when they opened an old save, but they were able to just ignore it. Some saves couldn't be used at all. The most trouble seemed to come from saves that lead to a choice.
If Old Saves Are Giving You Trouble:
We recommend saving over any saves that don't work well so you won't be tempted to use them again. You shouldn't have any issues with new saves or playthroughs made after this change.
Some Testers Said That Their Memories Gallery Had Problems:
This seemed like it would be more of an issue on Android. Some testers had trouble when they tried to play Memories again after they had already opened them.
If Your Open Memories Don't Work The Way They Should:
Close your game and then open it again. Play through the part of the game where the Memory happened all over again. Make sure you watch the scene all the way to the end, because that's where the Memories are. We put a "Reset All Memories" button in the Options page as a last resort. It will LOCK the whole Memory gallery, and you will have to play through the game again to open each one.
As usual, some Android devices won't be able to play this game well, especially as it gets bigger. We did our best to make the UX/UI as good as possible for Android users. Please let us know if you have problems with your Android device, and we will try to help.
