Teamfight Tactics Patch 13.6 brings a lot of big changes, like new champions and traits, system changes, and a new way to play. Patch 13.6 is the update for TFT 8.5 APK that comes out with it. On the PBE servers, the set has been tested, and on March 22, Glitched Out! will go live on the live servers.
For the Mid-Set update, there will be a soft reset, which will drop players down one tier on the ranked ladder. All of the competitors who were Master or higher fall to Diamond IV. All of the ranked rewards for TFT Set 8 should be available a few days after Patch 13.6 goes live.

As with every TFT Mid-Set update, the autobattler now has new champions and traits. Set 8.5 also has something called "Glitched Out carousels," which is a new way to play.
When a champion comes back to the arena from a carousel, items and components will no longer stay on them. Instead, they will automatically fall off. And for TFT Set 8.5, a number of Hero Augments have been changed.
Riot changed the Champion Duplicator from blue to orange, and the Item Remover from red to a stronger red. A line was added to the tooltip of the Zz'Rot Portal to remind players that summoned units won't work as well when the portal is used.
And now, a Spatula and a Sword make an Infiniteam logo. With the addition of new traits, the traits of several champions who made it into the Mid-Set update were changed.
Changes to how Item Augments and Hero Augments are given out that were made in Patch 13.5 will carry over into Set 8.5, and a few Regular Augments were changed for the Mid-Set update.
